Featured Service #1

Home Inspection Services

  • Comprehensive Home Inspection - Buying a home could be the largest single investment you will ever make. To minimize unpleasant surprises and unexpected difficulties, you’ll want to learn as much as you can about the newly constructed or existing house before you buy it. A Home Inspection is a limited, non-invasive examination of the condition of a home. A home inspection may identify the need for major repairs or builder oversights, as well as the need for maintenance to keep it in good shape. After the inspection, you will know more about the house, which will allow you to make decisions with confidence.

  • Wind Mitigation Inspection - Homeowners can receive substantial credits for outfitting their homes with windstorm mitigation features that withstand or are more resistant to high winds. We highly recommend that Florida Homeowners, especially those living in more hurricane-prone regions, consider investing in wind mitigation features. Generally, a wind mitigation inspection is needed to determine which credits apply to a home. During a wind mitigation inspection, a certified inspector looks for key features and add-ons that reduce the amount of damage your home may suffer in the event of a hurricane or strong windstorm. A Wind Mitigation is a visual inspection of a home's existing ability or lack of ability to withstand damage during a windstorm. The inspector will check the following:

• Roof covering and installation • Roof to wall ties

• Roof deck attachment • Roof Shape

• Protection for window and door openings

• Garage Door • Secondary water protection

  • 4-Point Inspection - Many insurance companies require this inspection for older homes for homeowner's insurance and renewals. The "four points" covered in this limited inspection include the four vital systems of the home: the roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. This inspection identifies their components, determines their age, and assesses their overall condition.

  • Move-in Certified - If you are selling your home, have it inspected before you list it. A Move-In certified Seller Inspection alerts you to any defects or problems with your home so you can address them before prospective buyers discover them. Show prospective buyers you are dealing in good faith. Avoid negotiations and delays, and justify your asking price.

  • Thermal imaging Inspections - Using a state-of-the-art infrared camera to find problems that aren't always apparent to the naked eye. By evaluating the IR images, sources of energy loss, moisture intrusion, hot spots in the electrical system, and other problems, such as wood-destroying organisims (WDOs) and rodent infestation can be located.

Other types of Inspections:

•Annual Home Maintenance Inspections •New Home Inspections • Builder's Warranty Inspections • Roof Inspections & Certifications

Mold Assessor and Indoor Air Quality Services

Understanding a potential Mold, Formaldehyde, Volatile Organic Componds (VOCs), or other pollutant or Indoor Air Quality problem is important to your health and the health of your home or investment property. If you suspect you have any of these problems in your home or potential property, whether it is visible or not, NGU Enterprises, Inc. can help you determine the serverity of the problem and potential solutions.

Mold is everywhare and grows naturally both outdoors and indoors. Mold can be detrimental to both the structure of a building and the health of its occupants. Since mold occurs naturally, its presence may not pose a threat, but mold and other IAQ impurities can be dangerous at low or high levels. Reactions to mold exposure and IAQ impurities can be minimal in some cases and very severe in others and typically do not improve if left unresolved.

Through a comprehensive mold assessment or Indoor Air Quality test, you will receive accurate data that can help you make important decisions about a potential property purchase or treatment of a property you currently own.

Services available include Air Sampling, Surface sampling, Thermal Imagery Assessment, Moisture Intrusion Detection, Limited Initial Assessment and Protocol for Mold/Water Damage, Full Initial Assessment and Protocol for Mold/Water Damage, Limited Post Clearance (PRV) for Mold/Water Damage Assessment, and Full Post Clearance (PRV) for Mold/Water Damage Assessment.
